Our ophthalmologists specialize in all types of glaucoma –  combined mechanism, narrow angle, open angle, and normal tension.  We also have expertise with those needing complex surgery and patients with advanced glaucoma.  Your initial consultation will take approximately 2 hours. After a review of your medical history, a complete medical eye exam is performed. This includes measurements of your visual acuity, eye pressure, corneal thickness, optic nerves and visual fields (peripheral vision).  A biomicroscopic exam will also be conducted and photographs or imaging of your optic nerve will be obtained. Following the evaluation, our doctors will thoroughly discuss your findings and treatment recommendations. A complete report will be sent to your referring physician or optometrist. We welcome any questions regarding the consultation at the conclusion of your exam.

Treatment plan recommendations may include laser procedures or surgery.

What to bring to your consultation:

  • Health insurance information including authorizations or referrals
  • List of prescription medications and dosages you are currently taking as well as your eye drop bottles
